BUFFALO RIVER FEST PARK HOSTS “BREAKAWAY” AT WEDNESDAY NIGHT CONCERT SERIES

On Wednesday, July 26th Buffalo River Fest Park will be host their “Wednesday Night Summer Concert Series” at the park, located at 249 Ohio Street, Buffalo, New York. The concert will run from 6:30pm to 10pm and will feature the local band Breakaway.

After their debut in 2010, Breakaway has rapidly become one of the “must see” bands in the Buffalo music scene. Combining expert musicianship, amazing vocal harmonies and unmatched energy and stage presence, the band brings a wide variety of music from many different eras. Whether it’s the Beatles, 70’s funk, 80’s hair metal, all of your favorite 90’s tunes, 2000’s, Alternative, and Modern Rock – Breakaway plays it!

Band members include: Bruce Decker (Keyboards, Harmonica, Vocals); Cory Klawon (Vocals, Guitars); Mike Schill (Bass, Vocals); Brad Peace (Guitar, Vocals); Jeff Kocher (Guitar, Vocals); and Tom Hury (Drums, Percussion). Breakaway was previously named Top New Rock Band at both the Buffalo Music Awards and the Nightlife Awards. They have played at various Western New York venues and events including Santora’s, Hamburg Burgerfest, Mickey Rats, Armor Inn Tap Room, the Erie County Fair, and M&T Plaza.

BUFFALO RIVER FEST PARK HOSTS “RESET TO VINYL” AT WEDNESDAY NIGHT CONCERT SERIES

On Wednesday, July 19th Buffalo River Fest Park will be host their “Wednesday Night Summer Concert Series” at the park, located at 249 Ohio Street, Buffalo, New York. The concert will run from 6:30pm to 10pm and will feature the local band Reset To Vinyl.

Reset To Vinyl is a rock band who play a mix of current and classic hits and interesting B-sides as well as an original song when the moment strikes. Their set list includes songs from artist such as Heart, Bruno Mars, U2, Cold Play, Maroon 5, Rush, Steely Dan, Bryan Adams, Tom Petty, Fleetwood Mac, Journey, The Doors, The Rolling Stones, and more.

Reset To Vinyl consists of veteran musicians with plenty of performance experience. Their live sound is huge with plenty of harmonies emulating the studio versions of the songs they perform. Band members include: Leah Pinnavaia (Lead Vocals); Keith Bielmeier (Keyboards, Vocals); Joe Pinnavaia (Guitar); John Caruso (Bass, Vocals); and Eric Cymerman (Drums).

BUFFALO RIVER FEST PARK HOSTS “FLIPSIDE” AT WEDNESDAY NIGHT CONCERT SERIES

On Wednesday, June 14th Buffalo River Fest Park will host their “Wednesday Night Summer Concert Series” at the park, located at 249 Ohio Street, Buffalo, New York. The concert will run from 6:30pm to 10pm and will feature the local band FlipSide.

FlipSide has been performing throughout WNY for the past twenty years to audiences of all ages. They have performed at Thursday In The Square, The Taste of Buffalo, the Erie County Fair, Canal Fest, and at various bars and night clubs. The band is comprised of Mark Christy (lead vocalist, acoustic and electric guitars, keyboards); John Lajoie (vocals, guitar); Dan Schmidt (drums); and Paul S. (guitar). Over the years FlipSide has won the Best Classic Rock Group category in the annual Buffalo Music Awards, Best Classic Rock Band award at the WNY People’s Choice Music Awards and has won Best Classic Pop Band at the Buffalo Night Life Awards in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016.

Their song list includes songs by artists such as Van Morrison, Foreigner, Black Crowes, The Rolling Stones, The Tragically Hip, Billy Idol, REO Speedwagaon, Luke Bryan, Garth Brooks, Bob Segar, Bruno Mars, and more! For more information on the band visit their website at www.flipweb.com.

Admission is free and food and refreshments will be sold at the concert, with all proceeds supporting Buffalo River Fest Park maintenance and other riverfront development. No coolers will be allowed and spectators are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets. Parking is free and is available on surrounding side streets.
