On Wednesday, August 8th Buffalo River Fest Park will be host their “Wednesday Night Summer Concert Series” at the park, located at 249 Ohio Street, Buffalo, New York. The concert will run from 6:30pm to 10pm and will feature the local band The Buffalo 5.

About The Buffalo 5:

The Buffalo 5, a rock, pop, and oldies dance band, consists of five friends – Greg Amato (lead guitar and vocals), Brian Overdorf (acoustic guitar and vocals), Dave Lansom (bass and vocals), Carolyn Lansom (lead vocals), and Jeff Garner (drums).

Their set list includes everyone’s favorite party songs as well as the tried and true standards. Some of the artists included in their repertoire include The B52’s, The Beatles, Johnny Cash, Sam Cooke, CCR, The Drifters, Grateful Dead, Billy Joel, Journey, Tom Petty, The Righteous Brothers, Rod Stewart, The Tragically Hip, Van Morrison, Bobby Darin, Frank Sinatra, and more! They have played in various locations throughout Western New York including The Armor Inn, JP Fitzgerald’s, Ellicottville Brewing Company, Holiday Valley, and Doc Sullivan’s.

Buffalo River Fest Park is located at 249 Ohio Street, Buffalo, NY 14204. Parking is free and widely available. No personal coolers are allowed at the park; however, refreshments are available for purchase, with proceeds supporting park maintenance and other riverfront development efforts. Lawn chairs and blankets are recommended. Rain will force concert cancellations, so please check the Buffalo River Fest Park Facebook page for updates.
