VCA SUMMER DAY CAMP

| $5 – $41The Valley Community Association will be holding a Summer Day Camp from Monday, July 1st through Friday, August 23rd for kids ages 5 to 12 years old (5 year olds must have completed Kindergarten). The camp will be held at the Valley Community Center, located at 93 Leddy Street, Buffalo, New York from 7am to 5:30pm daily.
Requirements:
Day Camp operates under the license of the New York State Office of Child and Family Services and provides kids with a safe, secure environment during summer vacation. Kids will be broken down by age and there will be two separate camp groups – one for kids ages 5-8 years old and the other for kids ages 9-12 years old.
Activities:
Lots of fun activities are planned for the summer! Field trips are scheduled twice a week to local attractions and destinations. On site activities will include computer instruction, STEM programming & ELA programming, physical education, guest speakers, reading groups, art classes, and more! Camp activities are structured and educational while also fun and interactive! Activities utilize the expansive Valley campus which includes classrooms, a computer lab, full size gym, large grassy playing field, and the Valley Nature Park & Habitat Trail.
Tuition:
The fee is $41 per child per day (with a minimum of 2 days per week required). There is an extra $5 per child charge on field trip days. Breakfast, lunch, and two snacks are included in tuition. Discounts are available for families and Erie County Department of Social Services payments are accepted. Pre-camp payments are also accepted for those who wish to pre-pay tuition.
