Two beautiful brick buildings compliment the park. The Mutual Boat House, a replica of the historic Mutual Rowing Club, provides a facility to store kayaks and canoes, making kayaking and canoeing on the Buffalo River easy and accessible. The second building houses the Valley Community Association’s Waterfront Memories and More Heritage Center.
The center provides a place to research the old waterfront neighborhood, including schools, people and one’s own family roots. The museum is open on Tuesday’s and Saturdays, or by contacting Bert Hyde at (716) 603-7242.
